a little portrait sketch done for fun on a scrap piece of 2.5 x 3.5 inch black Mi Teintes with pan pastels.

 

A 40 minute painting of a rose using pan pastels, 7 x 9 black Mi Teintes.

 

Since I feel like I’m in a rut, I’m going back to my favorite medium of quick sketching with charcoal pencils and chalk on toned paper.

  

A few pastel sketches, first three with pan pastels and the last one with art spectrums and senneliers. I think I am going through a rut, nothing I draw or paint is coming out good or right. Hope this goes away soon.
